HOW IS OAT KING BENEFICIAL?
Oat King
Oat King is produced using high quality of oats, barley, wheat, wheat
germ, wheat bran, brown rice, red rice, millet, corn, black bean,
soybean, mung bean, white navy bean, sesame seed and job’s tear
originated from Australia and Europe.
Oats, barley, wheat, wheat germ, wheat bran, brown rice, red rice,
millet and corn are whole grains. A study published in the American
Journal of Clinical Nutrition underscores the importance of choosing
whole grains rather than refined grain, to maintain a healthy body
weight. Eating a serving of whole grains, at least 6 times each week is
an especially good idea for people with high cholesterol, high blood
pressure or other signs of heart diseases. According to the American
Heart Journal, those eating at least 6 servings of whole grains each
week experienced slowed progression of plaque build-up that narrows the
vessels through which blood flows, and less progression in narrowing of
the diameter of arterial passageways. Whole grains also offer special
benefits in promoting healthy blood sugar control. Whole grains such as
brown rice and millet are a rich source of magnesium. Magnesium has been
shown in studies to reduce asthma and to reduce the frequency of
migraine attacks. Magnesium has also been shown to lower high blood
pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease. According to a study
published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests
barley’s fibre has multiple beneficial effects on cholesterol. Barley’s
dietary fibre provides food for the “friendly” bacteria in the large
intestine which to maintain a healthy colon.
Beans such as black bean, soybean, mung bean and white navy bean are a
rich source of protein. Unlike meat-based proteins, beans are naturally
low in fat, are free of saturated fat and trans-fat, and are a
cholesterol-free source of protein. Beans are also a rich source of
fiber. Research shows that people who eat more fiber tend to weigh less.
Beans boast a low glycemic index and contain complex carbohydrates,
which are digested slowly. These facts make beans a good choice for
people needing to keep their blood sugar in the normal range.
Sesame seeds are a very good source of copper. Copper is known for its
use in reducing some of the pain and swelling of rheumatoid arthritis.
Copper’s effectiveness is due to the fact that this trace mineral is
important in a number of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant enzyme
systems. Besides sesame seeds, Job’s tears are prescribed in certain
cases of arthritis to increase joint range of movement. It is
specifically used to treat joint pain and spasms that worsen in damp
weather. Job’s tears are also used to treat skin allergies. In addition,
Job’s tears are also having a mild effect in treating diarrhea with
digestive weakness.
Hence, Oat King is abundant in nutrients because of these nutritious
ingredients. According to food analysis, Oat King Oat King is rich in
dietary fibre. This fibre contains soluble and insoluble fibre. The
soluble fibre has proven effective in lowering total cholesterol and
LDL-Cholesterol (Bad Cholesterol) without having any effect on
HDL-Cholesterol (Good Cholesterol). Since heart disease is always in
line with blood cholesterol level, a reduction of cholesterol level in
body also reduce the risk of developing heart diseases. Besides this,
the soluble fibre in Oat King can also slow the rise in blood glucose
levels. Studies reported that regular intake of soluble fibre help
lowering the risk of high blood glucose level onset in healthy
individual. Soluble fibre in Oat King also provides a feeling of
fullness, so it can potentially help with weight loss. Furthermore, the
insoluble fibre found in Oat King can also help in the problem of
constipation.
According to food analysis, Oat King is also rich in Carbohydrate and
Protein. The main function of carbohydrate is to supply energy for the
body processes. Some of the carbohydrates are immediately utilized by
the tissues and the remaining is stored as glycogen in the liver and
muscles and some are stored as adipose tissues for future energy needs.
Protein is termed the building block of the body. It is called this
because protein is vital in the maintenance of body tissue, including
development and repair. Hair, skin, eyes, muscles and organs are all
made from protein. Protein forms antibodies that help prevent infection,
illness and disease. These proteins identify and assist in destroying
antigens such as bacteria and viruses. They often work in conjunction
with the other immune system cells.
Oat King also contains Vitamin B1 (Thiamine). All B vitamins help the
body convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is used to
produce energy. These B vitamins often referred to as B complex
vitamins, which are needed for healthy skin, hair, eyes, and liver. They
also help the nervous system function properly, and are needed for good
brain function. Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) is sometimes called an
“anti-stress” vitamin because it may strengthen the immune system and
improve the body’s ability to withstand stressful conditions.
Oat King also contains Iron. Iron is an essential element for blood
production. About 70 percent of your body’s iron is found in the red
blood cells of your blood called haemoglobin and in muscle cells called
myoglobin. Haemoglobin is essential for transferring oxygen in your
blood from the lungs to the tissues. Myoglobin, in muscle cells,
accepts, stores, transports and releases oxygen. Your body needs the
right amount of iron, if you have too little iron, you may develop iron
deficiency anaemia. Causes of low iron levels include blood loss, poor
diet, or an inability to absorb enough iron from foods.
According to food analysis, Oat King is also rich in Calcium. We need to
consume a certain amount of Calcium to build and maintain strong bones.
For those people whose calcium intake is inadequate have a considerably
higher risk later on in life of developing brittle bone disease or
osteoporosis. According to the Malaysian Osteoporosis Society,
osteoporosis related fractures have been recognised as a major health
problem, particularly in the elderly. The common sites of fracture are
the spine, wrist and hip. Hence, to fuel the bone growth, keep bone
density strong, and prevent Osteoporosis, you need a good supply of
calcium daily. Besides this, Calcium helps to regulate muscle
contraction, including the heartbeat and also plays a key role in normal
blood coagulation (clotting).
